Focus and Scope

Launched in June 2022, Journal of Healthcare Administration (JOHA) provides a venue for healthcare administrators, practitioners, and scholars to publish their works related to healthcare administration, management, ethics, policy, and leadership. JOHA welcomes submissions of original research, review article, letter to editors, and editorial. All healthcare professionals can submit to this journal. Non-healthcare professionals can also submit their works as long as the implications of their studies to healthcare administration practice are clearly described.

JOHA's intended readership includes healthcare administrators, leaders, and healthcare professionals in all spheres and at all levels who are committed to advancing practice and professional development based on new knowledge and evidence; managers and senior members of the healthcare professions; healthcare educators and healthcare students; and researchers, scholars, and scientists in both healthcare disciplines and other disciplines with interest in common issues and inter-disciplinary collaboration.

Healthcare professionals include those who work as nurses, physicians, physician assistants, registered dietitians, veterinarians, veterinary technicians, optometrists, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, medical assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dentists, midwives, psychologists, experts in public health and community health, and who perform service in allied health professions.
